Free Hand Made Crescent Samples from the Schnecken Connection

http://schneckenconnection.com/

Our schnecken are hand-made crescents of sweet flaky, crunchy dough filled with nuts, cinnamon and jelly, rolled in cinnamon and sugar and baked until golden brown - with a slight chewiness from the carmelized sugar and jelly escaping as it is baked. Browse through our web site and read more about "The Schnecken Connection" and how you can order and enjoy our delicious schnecken too!

Thank you! I hope they pack them well... everything we get comes smashed and frozen (makes the shampoo samples especially messy. ) The thought of a smashed, frozen schnecken (???).... LOL

The form to send seems to have been disabled? May be there's a rush on now?

I can't imagine anything worse than a smashed, frozen schnecken! And, that has to hurt the poor schnecken too! LOL :teeth:

Send us your name, address, telephone number, and a valid e-mail address to us at the following e-mail address: chazzers@schneckenconnection.
com. Requests cannot be processed without your complete information.

We will then send you a request for confirmation. When you confirm your order, your schnecken will be on their way!

Thanks, Joyce--just sent email!:)

I got an e-mail confirmation for my 2nd request today, but here's the important part of what they said:

If we had a ”bricks and mortar” store, you would walk in and sample our wares – no different than your local bakery or deli. And just like your neighborhood bakery and deli, we ask that you confirm your request for a sample by supplying the transportation: the cost of postage using our PayPal Invoice system. It is exactly what is charged by the US Postal Service for flat rate priority mail, which is how we ship our samples. Once your request is confirmed by receipt of payment through PayPal, we will increase our production accordingly and your schnecken will soon be on their way!

To complete the process simply click right here on this link to PayPal ; you do not need to have a PayPal account, and there is no charge to you to use PayPal. IMPORTANT: PLEASE REMEMBER to save your invoice - you will receive a credit for that amount towards your first purchase!

So, they want shipping charges prepaid (didn't check to see how much).

shipping is $4.60 I do not think that is bad if they are not smushed to bits. But my kids eat anything that doesnt eat them first so I guess that would be ok to!!!!

I was surprised to receive today via Priority Mail a box from them. I did have a few e-mails back and forth with Lora explaining that people thought it was a free sample with no shipping or handling and that they should put that info on their sign-up page. She seemed appreciative that I gave her feedback. Maybe that's why they sent me the sample, but there was no note or e-mail about it. But, if what you have to pay $4.60 for what I got, you should know what I did receive. It was one cello-wrapped and ribbon-tied package with four sample pieces inside. It was very good, but worth $4.60? You'll have to decide for yourselves.

Thank you for your interest in The Schnecken Connection, LLC and your request for a sample of our delicious schnecken. Check your e-mail periodically for our request for confirmation; follow the instructions for confirmation and some of our schnecken will be on their way to you shortly, to enjoy and consider ordering more!

They send an email in 2 days, requesting fee for shipping. Thanks

They sent me an email immediately requesting $4.60 for postage costs.

I paid the $4.60 shipping and got the sample several months ago. The $4.60 is what was on the package for shipping, so they are not making any profit by sending out the sample. The cresents were VERY tasty and I went back and ordered a full order. It was a little pricey ($18.00), but they deducted the original shipping of $4.60 from my first "real" order. The product is very high quality and I loved it. Even my husband, who does not like sweets, enjoyed them. If you have an extra $4.60, I would definitely recommend that you try them.:)
